The Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife says trail camera images confirm the creation of at least two wolverines in the Wallowa Mountains.

They are the beginning known wolverines to be in Wallowa County.

REMOVAL PROCEDURE

IMPORTANT: Refer to Computers and Restraint Systems Component Views for fuel injector locations. Failure to discover the correct cylinder will lead in misdiagnosis.

1. Remove the lower valve cover.
2. Remove the fuel injector pressure air from fuel injectors.

IMPORTANT: When the fuel injector pressure lines are removed, debris may come into the fuel injector inlet fitting. Remove any dust from the inlet fitting of the fuel injector.

1. Remove the dash from the fuel injector bracket.

1. Install J 44639 (2) onto the injector retainer bracket.
2. Install a wrench onto J 44639 (2) and pry away from the fuel injector (1).

IMPORTANT: Confirm which side of the banjo washers have the largest hole.

1. Remove the fuel injector(s).
2. Remove the copper compression washer from the injector hole if the washer was not removed with the injector.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE

1. If the fuel injector sleeve was pulled from the cylinder head when removing the injector, the injector sleeve installation process is as follows:

1.1 Set the new injector sleeve gaskets (1) to the injector sleeve (2).

IMPORTANT: An injector sleeve with scoring or other damage must be replaced. 1.2. Apply sealant (Locktite 272 or equivalent) to the lower sealing area of injector sleeve

1. Using a prominent brass drift (4), drive the injector sleeve (2) into the cylinder head until fully seated.
2. Replace the copper compression washer. Assembly grease may be required to carry the washer in place.
3. Install the new injector(s).
4. Install the slap on the injector bracket.

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

Tighten
Tighten the bang to 49 N.m (36 lb ft).

1. Install the fuel injector pressure air to the fuel injectors.

IMPORTANT: Always install new copper gaskets on the fuel injector lines.

Tighten
Tighten the bolts to 12 N.m (106 lb in).
